1. Who provides the service

LotRadar is provided by:

Payments are processed by lava.top as the payment service. The party to the agreement for using LotRadar is the seller named above.

2. Definitions

• Service: the LotRadar browser extension, the server that performs the calculations, and this website.
• Extension: the program for Chromium-based browsers that reads the auction page you open and displays the calculation.
• Account: your login to the service by email and password.
• Workspace: where your rates, saved searches and calculations are stored. On the Team plan, several members work in one workspace.
• Auctions: Copart and IAAI, which are not affiliated with LotRadar in any way.
• Plan: a set of features and limits described in section 6.
• AI photo check: analysis of lot photos by Anthropic’s Claude model, described in section 11.
• Payment provider: lava.top, the service through which payments are accepted.

3. What the service is

LotRadar is a browser extension with a service behind it. The extension reads the auction page you have open and shows a calculation: what the car will cost with shipping and import duties, what it is worth in the destination market, and how high it makes sense to bid.

Under this agreement the seller gives you access to the service on the terms of your chosen plan, and you pay for that access if you use it after the free trial.

4. Accepting these terms; your account

By creating an account or paying for a subscription you accept these terms in full. If you act on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept them for it.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• Use an email address you have access to: login emails go there, and payments are linked to your account by it.
• An account belongs to one person. The Team plan, with a separate seat per person, is meant for several people working together.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken under your account.

5. Free trial

New accounts get 7 days free, no card required. During the trial every Pro feature is available, plus 15 AI photo checks.

When the trial ends, lot calculations stop and the extension tells you plainly that a subscription is needed. Your account, rates, saved searches and saved calculations stay where they are, waiting for you. There is no stripped-down free tier: we think quietly degrading the product is worse than stopping honestly.

One trial per person or company.

6. Plans, prices and limits

Prices are in US dollars.

Every plan includes all nine sale destinations, import duties at official rates, destination market prices, the bid ceiling, your own freight and labor rates, and support from inside the extension. Pro and Team add hammer price forecast calibration; Team adds roles, invitations and shared team rates.

Yearly billing costs the same as ten months and covers twelve.

AI photo checks are granted for each paid month, including on yearly billing. Unused checks do not carry over to the next month.

AI check pack: +50 checks for $15, a one-time purchase. Pack checks are used after your monthly allowance runs out and remain valid for 12 months from purchase.

Fair use. Lot calculations on results pages are unlimited for normal human use of the auction sites. Automated bulk data collection, requests made without an auction page open, reselling calculations, and load clearly beyond normal use are not covered: in such cases we may limit request rates after writing to you first.

7. Payment

Payments are accepted through lava.top. Card details are entered on its side: we do not see, receive or store them in any form. All we receive is a notice that the payment went through, the payer’s email address, the amount, the currency and the contract number.

The email you use at checkout must match your account email. There is nothing else to link the payment to your access. If they differ, message support: the payment is not lost, we will link it manually.

Your bank or the payment provider may show the amount in another currency or charge its own conversion fee. That is outside our control.

8. Auto-renewal and cancellation

Your subscription renews automatically through the payment provider at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time on the lava.top side. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We will not take back time you paid for. There are no further charges after you cancel.

9. Price changes

We will tell you about any price change in advance, at least 14 days ahead, in the extension and by email. A new price takes effect no earlier than your next billing period. If it does not suit you, cancel before renewal.

10. Refunds

In short: your first payment is refundable within 14 days with no reason needed, a period when the service did not work through our fault is refunded in full, and a refund ends access right away. If the law of your country gives you broader rights than described here, those rights apply instead of this document.

11. The AI photo check and its limits

The AI photo check sends the lot photos and basic lot details (year, make, model, declared damage) to Anthropic’s Claude model and shows a breakdown of the damage by area, with references to the photos and a confidence level. How it works and what data is sent is explained on How the AI Photo Check Works.

• The model assesses only what is visible in the photos. Hidden damage is not visible in photos to anyone.
• When there are too few photos or they are poor quality, the check says it cannot tell rather than guessing.
• The model can be wrong. The result is a hint for screening lots, not an expert opinion and not a substitute for inspection.

12. All figures are estimates

This is the most important section of this document, and it is not a formality.

• Import duties are calculated at official rates and on a typical lot come close to the actual amount. But rates change by government decision, and customs take into account circumstances that are not on the auction page.
• The resale price is either the median of listings for similar cars or a coefficient-based estimate. The extension always says which, and how many listings were used.
• Repair cost is estimated from photos and the declared damage. Hidden damage is not visible in photos to anyone.
• The hammer price is a guess about the auction, not knowledge of it.

Buying decisions are yours. LotRadar does not provide investment advice and does not guarantee profit or any other outcome of a deal.

13. Auction rules and your obligations

You work through your own legitimate access to Copart and IAAI. The extension does not bypass account verification, does not create accounts and does not let several people bid through one account. Following the auction’s rules is your responsibility.

You agree:

• not to give anyone else access to your LotRadar account;
• not to share one auction account between several people;
• not to use the service for anything prohibited by the auctions’ rules or the law of your country;
• not to try to access other users’ data.

14. Acceptable use

You may not:

• get around plan limits, the trial, or the service’s technical restrictions, including by creating multiple accounts;
• export calculations, duty rates or market prices automatically and in bulk, resell them, or build a competing service on them;
• decompile, modify or redistribute the extension in breach of these terms, except where the law expressly allows it;
• overload the server in ways that disrupt other users, probe it for vulnerabilities without our consent, or interfere with its operation.

Found a vulnerability? Tell us: we will thank you, not punish you.

15. Our obligations

• To show where every number comes from and never pass off an estimate as certain knowledge.
• Not to expand data collection quietly: changes are reflected in the Privacy Policy.
• Not to sell your data or pass it to anyone other than the processors listed in the Privacy Policy, and only as far as the service requires.
• To access your workspace data only for support, abuse prevention, billing and service quality. Every such access by staff is recorded in an audit log.
• To tell you when something breaks rather than keep quiet about it.

16. Intellectual property

The extension, the server, the calculation method, the rate database, the texts and the LotRadar mark belong to the seller. For the duration of your subscription you get a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own work.

Your rates, saved searches and notes remain yours. Lot data belongs to the auctions and is public. Copart and IAAI are trademarks of their respective owners.

17. Service availability

We work to keep the service running without interruption but cannot guarantee it: there is scheduled maintenance, hosting outages, and changes to auction pages that require us to fix how pages are read. We report serious outages in the extension.

While the extension is installed from an archive, it does not update itself: it tells you about a new version in the side panel, and you install it manually. Calculations in an outdated version may be inaccurate.

18. Liability

The service is provided as is. We are responsible for performing calculations according to the rules described and using data from the sources stated. We are not responsible for the outcome of a deal, for changes in rates or exchange rates after a calculation, for hidden damage to a vehicle, or for the actions of the auctions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months and excludes lost profits and indirect damages.

These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, including liability for intent and gross negligence. Consumer rights granted by the law of your country take precedence over this document.

19. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.

We may restrict access if these terms are breached, with prior warning unless the breach causes immediate harm to other users or the service. If access is closed through no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of the paid period.

20. Changes to these terms

Material changes are announced in advance, at least 14 days ahead, in the extension. By continuing to use the service after they take effect, you accept them; if you do not, you can cancel your subscription. The date at the top shows the latest version.

21. Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the law of the seller’s country of registration: [to be filled: seller’s country of registration]. This does not deprive you of the protection given by mandatory law of the country where you live.

Please write to us first: most issues are resolved by email. We reply to a formal complaint within 14 days. If we cannot agree, the dispute goes to the courts at the seller’s place of registration or to the courts designated by the consumer protection law of your country.
